What's Misty reading?
Since my childhood, I've never felt comfortable without a book close to hand. None of my purses are so small a book won't fit, and I've
often been seen reading while in line at the Post Office. It's an addiction I hope I never get over. I prefer fantasy and science
fiction, but I also enjoy mysteries (especially those set in ancient times) and good horror epics (a little scare now and then is good for the
metabolism!)
Glen Cook - Cruel Zinc Melodies

Garrett is back! I was beside myself when I happened across Cook's latest while wandering
the bookstore, and I think I startled the nice lady shelving books a few feet over, but I swear - Garrett is worth it! He's a
mystery-solving gumshoe in the tradition of Marlowe and Spade, except that he lives in the city of TunFaire alongside elves, trolls and assorted
fantasy creatures. I fell head over heels for Garrett a long time ago, and every time a new adventure appears, it feels like
Christmas.
What's in Misty's CD player?
I have eclectic preferences in music. What I listen to depends entirely on what I happen to be up to at the
time. When I'm dancing, it's Middle Eastern music; Tarkan and Omar Faruk Tekbilek, sometimes the more progressive Pentaphobe and
Toids. When I'm relaxing, I like rock (The Police, Pink Floyd and Evanescence) and classical (Beethoven and Bach.)
Djinn - The Middle East Side

My amazing dance teacher brought this CD and the wonderful artists to my attention. They play traditional rhythms and
instruments with a modern American flair. Finally American belly dancers have their own classics!
